The Day of the Dahlia

Celebrating the much loved British garden plant the Dahlia and national plant of Mexico, Loveday and Vernon in association with Birmingham City Council created this lovely imaginative garden. Complete with a giant topiary skull it brought smiles and colour to the RHS flower show at Tatton Park. It attracted much attention during the show and was featured on a number of the news channels.

Sadly I wasn't able to get to the show myself this year but a friend (thanks Sue) has let me have copies of her photos so I can make a scrapbook page of this garden.
