Welcome to the 9th annual Mad Tea Party
once more lovingly hosted by Vanessa of A Fanciful Twist.
Please do find a table to sit and enjoy your visit.
.and of course no party is complete without a party cake showstopper,
Would you like a slice?
Thank you kindly for paying me a short visit, I do hope you can call again. I hold my hands up
and admit this wasn't the party post I'd planned but my card reader choose today of all days to go kaput and plans had to change. After having a Queen of hearts style tantrum and thinking of dropping out, the magic of Pinterest came to my rescue and I found these delicious pictures to share. Once I can release my own photos from the camera which both Sassy Alice and Mr R. White (both beautifully made by Rhissanna) posed so lovely for I'll do another Un party post or maybe just scatter them through the blog. I can vouch that the cakes I brought and made did taste lovely. Currently Sassy Alice with her arms crossed is having a slight strop and keeps shooting barbed glances my way over her photos not being used and I do believe Mr White has also scurried off to sulk. I'm going off to have another cake (did I mention they tasted lovely hehe) and over this weekend look forward to visiting you all.
I read about your card not working, what a shame! But this was a very clever idea and the pictures are lovely. Oh and those cakes.. too good to eat, they're works of art wow! I'll check back for the photos of your party, you could have a Very Merry Unbirthday!
ReplyDeleteYou did amazingly well for pulling this together on short notice.
ReplyDeleteI also was having technology difficulties and used the kindness of sharing strangers to party along.
I believe Miss Sassy Alice is throwing those daggers lovingly while she continues to think of mischief to entertain you.
Please visit - I have music

ReplyDeleteA wonderful Un-Birthday Tea Party...such fun....you did a super job...come by mine and have some cake..:)
ReplyDeleteThank you for your party and wishing you better days ahead with your camera!
ReplyDeleteIn the meanwhile, My Little Victorienne and Purple Kitty are waiting for a visit from you at my blog! We hope you enjoy your time there!
Wishing you a wonderful Mad Tea Party Weekend!

My party had to change, too. I love the cakes you found! I'll keep an eye out for a later post.
ReplyDeleteThat Alice in Wonderland sculpture is just precious! Is the mushroom a lamp? It looks like a lamp. Or maybe I just want it to a lamp.
ReplyDeleteI too had a snafu - the start of my show vintage Alice dolly was lost for 5 days, delivered to a neighbor's doorstep but I didn't know which one. Had to scramble to get images so I could still participate.
ReplyDeletePop on by for a visit, here is my entry

Thanks for the cake and a sip of tea too.
ReplyDeleteI really don't mind a small party as long as there's cake! I don't even care if there isn't any tea as long as there's cake! I don't even mind ... Oh sorry. I'm getting carried away. That's what happens when you're perfectly mad.
ReplyDeleteHi Jane!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for inviting me over to taste all of your scrumptious cakes today! I'm so sad that you lost your whole party due to technology being a nuisance, but you made the best of it anyway! Thanks for visiting my party as well!

Yes, technology gets us all eventually, I suffer from a random disconnecting internet. I did really enjoy looking at your post, it was a great assemblage of photos I'd never have seen otherwise. I will stop back again to get a look at your Alice and Mr. White. Thanks for the fun!
ReplyDeleteBless your heart! Technical failures and tragedies usually happen to me. But I did enjoy your post. Lovely inspirations for next year!
ReplyDeleteHappy Mad Tea Party!
xo,
Ricki Jill
